👶Infants (3–24 months)
At Bunny Childcare Warkworth, we provide gentle, consistent, and responsive care for our youngest tamariki. We work closely with whānau to follow each child’s routines, helping them feel secure, settled, and supported.
Our calm, nurturing environment allows infants to explore at their own pace through movement, sensory experiences, and meaningful interactions. Everyday care moments are approached with warmth and respect, building strong relationships and a sense of trust.
Sleep & Routine
We align with your child’s home routines wherever possible. Our sleep spaces are calm and supervised, and our kaiako respond quickly to provide comfort and reassurance.

🚶Toddlers (2–3 years)
At Bunny Childcare Warkworth, we support toddlers in a stage full of curiosity, movement, and growing independence.
We begin with strong, caring relationships so children feel secure and confident to explore. In a warm and engaging environment, toddlers are encouraged to express themselves, interact with others, and discover the world around them through play.
Each day offers a balance of group experiences, independent play, and guided learning, supporting language development, social skills, and early problem-solving. Our environment also promotes physical activity, helping children develop coordination, confidence, and self-help skills.
We work closely with families to follow each child’s routine and support important milestones, including toilet learning, at a pace that suits the individual child.

🎓Preschool (3–5 years)
At Bunny Childcare Warkworth, our preschool programme supports children to grow in confidence, independence, and readiness for school.
We provide a positive and engaging environment where children are encouraged to explore, think, and express themselves. Through a balance of play-based and guided learning, tamariki develop communication, problem-solving, and a love of learning.
Our programme includes opportunities for exploration, project work, and real-life experiences, supporting children to build knowledge and follow their interests.
We place strong emphasis on social and emotional development, helping children build relationships, develop resilience, and express themselves with confidence.
Working closely with whānau, we support a smooth transition to primary school, ensuring each child feels prepared and capable.
